VOLUNTEER
There are many ways to make an impact.
SPONSOR CONGREGATIONS:
Sponsor Congregation volunteers provide hospitality to Family Promise guest families through their congregations. These volunteers provide groceries and meals. Most congregations sponsor three to four weeks a year. Sponsor congregations often provide financial support to Family Promise.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR (VC):
Each Host Congregation has a volunteer who coordinates hosting activities for their congregation. Volunteer Coordinators work closely with Family Promise staff to meet the needs of guest families.
SUPPORT CONGREGATIONS:
Provide in-kind resources or financial support without hosting.
HOUSEWARMING:
Donate furniture, gather household items, cleaning supplies or personal hygiene items.
SPECIAL EVENTS/ BOARD COMMITTEES:
Family Promise needs many volunteers who are interested in assisting with special events or serving on a Board committee. Board committees are Governance, Finance, and Development.
PROMISE SQUAD:
Help families during the most exciting time – moving to the new home! We need hands to move furniture, belongings and supplies.
