THE PARTNERSHIP
Our model differs from traditional shelters. It’s a unique blend of congregational partners, hospitality. It’s a sustainable approach to providing shelter for families. Our congregations offer hospitality and hope by providing groceries for breakfast and lunch with volunteers delivering dinner.
This unique partnership with congregations preparing a room for each family ensures families stay together, never experiencing separation.
Other shelters may separate the father from the mother and children, teen sons from a
single mother and their younger siblings or young adult children from the rest of the family.
Volunteers from all faiths help us transform lives.
THE ROLE OF SPONSOR CONGREGATIONS
Sponsor congregations often provide financial support to Family Promise for family support services, transportation and other programs.
