Join us for our Seventh Annual Cardboard City.
November 17-18 2017, 4 p.m. to 8 a.m.
CrossRoad Methodist Church, 10005 Gate Parkway North
Help us raise awareness of homelessness in our city and raise funds for Family Promise of Jacksonville. Make the commitment to spend the night in a cardboard box, a tent, or even in your car. We will provide a meal, activities, and entertainment. Boxes can be purchased at any U-Haul or office supply store or ask an area appliance retailer. We are asking participants to set a goal of collecting $100 in donations to change lives. This is a great event for families, youth groups and anyone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child!
New to Cardboard City! See how successful you are in navigating the Social Service Maze! You will receive your “family’s” story and then have a limited time to visit centers to get the services need to move your family from homelessness to stability. Can you ask the right questions? Do you have patience? Are you up to the challenge!
Download the registration and all other forms here.
Please complete the forms and mail them back to Family Promise of Jacksonville, P.O. Box 40363, Jacksonville, FL 32203-0363. Or you can bring them the night of the event. For questions , please call Beth Mixson @ 904-537-3645 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
